The Power Performance race tire is the first of it's kind, with its multiple compounds available with unbelievable grip and feedback. This tire is even made in the same factory in France that the MotoGP is made---now that is awesome!!! If you are in the market for the best of the best of race tires, you need not to look any farther....let's say again Michelin Power Performance race tires. Be the first to cross the finish line!

The Michelin Power Performance Race Tires are not intended for use on public roads, race track use only. Tire warmers must be used with these tires (see instructions below).

Compound Recommendation Updates: In the early stages of data we are recommending Soft Front and Soft Rear Compounds for most 600 - 1000cc riders. For 1000cc riders with Expert Club Race Winning Pace or 1000cc riders favoring the point and shoot style a Medium Compound Rear may be the best option. As ambient and track temps increase a Medium Compound may be an option for 600 - 1000cc riders. Please note we will continue to update these listings as we learn more throughout the season.

Rear Tire Pressure and Temp

  • 18 PSI set cold 23-24 off warmers at 93 degree celcius warmer temp
  • Operating temp after 6 flying laps: 110-131 degrees is recommended with 140 degrees maximum
  • Check tire temp using tire pyrometer probe after 6 flying laps: After initial temp check and in range, you are good for the day
  • If below range, move to a softer tire----if above range, move to a harder tire.
